<br />0 }{ I GIN A L <br />R .t S a L UTI a N. 11599 <br /> <br />9/16/91 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING AND AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF AGREEMENT <br />WITH MIDPENINSULA cmZENS FOR FAIR HOUSING <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Midpeninsula Citizens for Fair Housing is presently engaged in the <br /> <br />operation of a Fair Housing Counseling Program and desires to conduct a fair housing <br /> <br />counseling program for residents of the City of Redwood City; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Midpeninsula Citizens for Fair Housing has requested financial <br /> <br />assistance in order to conduct such a program for residents of the City during the fiscal year <br /> <br />commencing July 1, 1991, and ending June 30, 1992; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City of Redwood City has reviewed said request and desires to <br /> <br />allocate to Midpeninsula Citizens for Fair Housing the sum of Twenty Nine Thousand, Nine <br /> <br />Hundred Forty Two and No/lOO Dollars ($29,942.00) from its Community Development <br /> <br />Block Grant funds; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, there has been presented to this Council for approval an agreement <br /> <br />between the City of Redwood City and Midpeninsula Citizens for Fair Housing, and it is <br /> <br />the intention and desire of this Council to approve the same; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE; <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br /> <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />That certain agreement (form dated 9/12/91), by and between the City of Redwood <br /> <br />City and Midpeninsula Citizens for Fair Housing, a copy of which agreement is on file in <br /> <br />the office of the City Clerk, to which copy reference is hereby made for full particulars <br /> <br />thereof, is hereby approved, and the City Manager is hereby authorized and directed to <br /> <br />execute the same for and on behalf of the City of Redwood City. <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />1 <br /> <br />~'r <br />
