<br />0 RIG I N A L <br /> <br />9/16/91 <br /> <br />R E ~ 0 L U T ! 0 N. <br /> <br />11598 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING AND AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF AGREEMENT <br />WITH MENTAL HEALTH ASSOCIATION OF SAN MATEO COUNTY <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Mental Health Association of San Mateo County desires to conduct a <br /> <br />transitional housing program for mentally disabled residents of the City of Redwood City; <br /> <br />and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Mental Health Association of San Mateo County has requested <br /> <br />financial assistance in order to conduct such a program for residents of the City during the <br /> <br />fiscal year commencing July 1, 1991, and ending June 30, 1992; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City of Redwood City has reviewed said request and desires to <br /> <br />allocate to Mental Health Association of San Mateo County the sum of Twelve Thousand <br /> <br />and No/lOO Dollars ($12,000.00) from its Community Development Block Grant funds; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, there has been presented to this Council for approval an agreement <br /> <br />between the City of Redwood City and Mental Health Association of San Mateo County <br /> <br />and it is the intention and desire of this Council to approve the same; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE; <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br /> <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />That certain agreement (form dated 9/12/91), by and between the City of Redwood <br /> <br />City and Mental Health Association of San Mateo County, a copy of which agreement is <br /> <br />on file in the office of the City Clerk, to which copy reference is hereby made for full <br /> <br />particulars thereof, is hereby approved, and the City Manager is hereby authorized and <br /> <br />directed to execute the same for and on behalf of the City of Redwood City. <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />r--- .~.
