<br />0 RIG I N A L <br /> <br />9/16/91 <br /> <br />R b S 0 L UTI 0 N. <br /> <br />11596 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING AND AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF <br />AGREEMENT WITH HUMAN INVESTMENT PROJECTS, INC. FOR <br />SHARED HOUSING PROGRAM <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Human Investment Project, Inc. is presently engaged in the operation <br /> <br />of a Shared Housing Program and desires to conduct a shared housing program for <br /> <br />residents of the City of Redwood City; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Human Investment Project, Inc. has requested financial assistance in <br /> <br />order to conduct such a program for residents of the City during the fiscal year commencing <br /> <br />July 1, 1991, and ending June 30, 1992; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City of Redwood City has reviewed said request and desires to <br /> <br />allocate to Human Investment Project, Inc. the sum of Twenty Five Thousand and no/100 <br /> <br />Dollars ($25,000.00) from its Community Development Block Grant funds; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, there has been presented to this Council for approval an agreement <br /> <br />between the City of Redwood City and Human Investment Project, Inc., and it is the <br /> <br />intention and desire of this Council to approve the same; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE; <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br /> <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />That certain agreement (form dated 9/12/91), by and between the City of Redwood <br /> <br />City and Human Investment Project, Inc., a copy of which agreement is on file in the office <br /> <br />of the City Clerk, to which copy reference is hereby made for full particulars thereof, is <br /> <br />hereby approved, and the City Manager is hereby authorized and directed to execute the <br /> <br />same for and on behalf of the City of Redwood City. <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />.,... <br /> <br />-- r <br />
