<br />DES:dft <br /> <br />9/l0/91 (004/3l) <br />9/16/91 <br /> <br />a RIG I N A L <br /> <br />RES 0 L UTI 0 N <br /> <br />N O. <br /> <br />11594 <br /> <br />---------- <br /> <br />RESOLUTION ACCEPTING BID FOR PURCHASE OF FOUR PICKUP <br />TRUCKS; AND AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF PURCHASE DOCUMENTS <br />THEREFOR <br /> <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to the provisions of Section 2.65 of the <br /> <br />Code of the City of Redwood City, the City Manager caused public <br /> <br />notice inviting bids to be published for the purchase of four <br /> <br />pickup trucks to be used for municipal purposes; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />pursuant <br /> <br />to <br /> <br />said <br /> <br />publication <br /> <br />four <br /> <br />bids <br /> <br />were <br /> <br />received; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />Fremont Ford of Newark California is the lowest <br /> <br />responsible bidder and it is the intention and desire of this <br /> <br />Council to accept the bid thereof; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br /> <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />1. <br /> <br />The bid of Fremont Ford, of Newark, California, in the <br /> <br />total amount of Fifty Six Thousand Six Hundred Ninety-Nine and <br /> <br />No/100 Dollars <br /> <br />($56,699.00) , <br /> <br />computed in accordance with <br /> <br />said <br /> <br />bidder's proposal dated August 20, 1991, for the sale of four (4) <br /> <br />pickup trucks which bid is on file in the office of the City <br /> <br />Clerk, to which reference is hereby made for the full particulars <br /> <br />thereof, is hereby accepted, and said bidder is hereby found and <br /> <br />declared to be the lowest responsible bidder for the sale of said <br /> <br />vehicles to the City. <br /> <br />2. <br /> <br />Any and all informalities in the aforementioned bid of <br /> <br />said Fremont Ford are, and each of them is, hereby waived. <br /> <br />.-.....-...
