<br />DES:dft <br /> <br />8/05/91 (013/30) <br /> <br />0 RIG I N A L <br /> <br />8/12/91 <br /> <br />RES 0 L UTI 0 N <br /> <br />N O. <br /> <br />11580 <br /> <br />---------- <br /> <br />RESOLUTION ACCEPTING BID FOR MARLIN PARK PLAYGROUND <br />EQUIPMENT; DETERMINING LOWEST RESPONSIBLE BIDDER FOR <br />FURNISHING SAID EQUIPMENT; REJECTING ALL OTHER BIDS; <br />AND APPROVING AND AUTHORIZING ISSUANCE OF PURCHASE <br />DOCUMENTS THEREFOR <br /> <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to Resolution No. <br /> <br />11529, <br /> <br />the City Clerk <br /> <br />advertised <br /> <br />for <br /> <br />bids <br /> <br />for <br /> <br />furnishing <br /> <br />playground <br /> <br />equipment <br /> <br />for <br /> <br />Harlin Park; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />pursuant <br /> <br />to <br /> <br />said <br /> <br />advertisement, <br /> <br />two <br /> <br />bids <br /> <br />were <br /> <br />received; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the bid of Ross Recreation Equipment Company, Inc., <br /> <br />of Novato, California, <br /> <br />is the lowest responsible bid and this <br /> <br />Council desires to accept said bid; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br /> <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />1. <br /> <br />The bid of Ross Recreation Equipment Company, Inc., of <br /> <br />Novato, <br /> <br />California, <br /> <br />for <br /> <br />furnishing the <br /> <br />following <br /> <br />selected bid <br /> <br />items <br /> <br />and quanti ties <br /> <br />for Marlin Park, <br /> <br />for the total purchase <br /> <br />price of Twenty Nine Thousand Nine Hundred Ninety-four and 50/100 <br /> <br />Dollars ($29,994.50) is hereby accepted: <br /> <br />(i) play structure with <br /> <br />two sun roofs; <br /> <br />(ii) <br /> <br />two picnic tables; <br /> <br />(iii) <br /> <br />four benches with <br /> <br />backs; <br /> <br />(iv) two BBQ Grills; <br /> <br />(v) one set trilevel bars; <br /> <br />(vi) one <br /> <br />horizontal ladder; <br /> <br />(vii) one Double Poly Slide; <br /> <br />(viii) one fire <br /> <br />engine <br /> <br />with <br /> <br />double <br /> <br />slide; <br /> <br />(ix) <br /> <br />four <br /> <br />superscoops; <br /> <br />(x) <br /> <br />one <br /> <br />four-place Spring See Saw; and (xi) two spring riders in the form <br /> <br />of turtles; and said bidder is hereby declared to be the lowest <br /> <br />responsible bidder for furnishing said equipment. <br /> <br />'ï--'-- "'~'-T""""'" <br />
