<br />ORIGINAL <br /> <br />AGREEMENT <br /> <br />for <br /> <br />RELOCATING ROSENER HOUSE (ADULT DAY SUPPORT SERVICES FOR <br />REDWOOD CITY SENIORS) <br /> <br />(PENINSULA VOLUNTEERS) <br /> <br />THIS AGREEMENT, made and entered into this ~ day of <br /> <br />~Ar\... ~ ' 2000, by and between the CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, a <br /> <br />municipal corporation of the State of California, (City), and PENINSULA <br /> <br />VOLUNTEERS, INC., a California nonprofit corporation (Contractor); <br /> <br />WITNESSETH: <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Contractor conducts an adult day support services for seniors who <br /> <br />are residents in the City (the Program); and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the existing building will be demolished and the program must <br /> <br />relocate from its current site; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Contractor has requested financial assistance in order to conduct <br /> <br />the Program for residents of City commencing April 1, 2000, and ending June 30, 2000; <br /> <br />and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, City has reviewed said request and desires to allocate to Contractor <br /> <br />the sum of Twenty Thousand and No/lOO Dollars ($20,000.00) from its Community <br /> <br />Development Block Grant funds for the Program; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, the parties hereto agree as follows: <br /> <br />Agmt-333 <br />F:/SharedJRedwood/Council <br />DES:djk <br />03/17/00 <br /> <br />1 <br /> <br />T- <br /> <br />~--.T <br />
