<br />5) The Chief Elections Officer will conduct all aspects of the Canvass of Votes Cast. The <br />Canvass may be conducted simultaneously with other jurisdictions holc;ling elections on the <br />same day with no territory in common with the City. In this insta.nce, the results will be <br />accumulated, certified, and reported as though the election is a consolidated election <br />pursuant to EC §1O262 and §1O411. The Chief Elections Officer will st1Ímit a Certificate of <br />the Chief Elections Officer to the City certifying the results of the elect.¡n. <br /> <br />... <br />6) The Chief Elections Officer will conduct other various and miscellaneous election activities <br />as required including, but not limited to, all t, hose required of thr City Election Official, <br />other than those described under "Services to be Performed by the City of Redwood City." <br /> <br />TERMS: <br /> <br />This agreement shall be in effect for t~ performance of all se¡:vices incident to the preparation <br />and conduct of the election to be held on November 8, 2005. <br /> <br />In the event the Chief Elections Officer is unable to perform services required under this <br />Agreement, as a result of employer/employee relation conditions, vendor conditions or other conditions <br />beyond the control of the Chief Elections Officer, the Chief Elections Officer will be relieved of all <br />obligations under this Agreement.
