Recommendation: <br />M/S Aguirre /Foust to introduce the Ordinance Amending Redwood City <br />Code — Section 27.100 — Sewer Service Charges <br />ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 27.100 OF THE CODE OF THE CITY OF <br />REDWOOD CITY RELATING TO SANITARY SEWERAGE SERVICE <br />CHARGES (802) <br />The motion passed by a unanimous roll call vote. MINUTE ORDER 05 -125 <br />7. MATTERS OF COUNCIL INTEREST <br />A. Legislation (information only) — This sub - section involves possible <br />discussion of City Position on Proposed Legislation described in the <br />League of California Cities Priority Focus Bulletin No. 24 -2005. Council <br />may direct staff to act on positions taken by Council. (Copies of League of <br />California Cities Priority Focus available in City Clerk's Department). <br />B. Council Member Howard — stated that on Saturday, June 25, Supervisor <br />Rose Jacobs- Gibson, in partnership with the Latino Community Alliance of <br />the Sheriff's Office, PRCS and business leaders throughout the community <br />participated in the first annual North Fair Oaks clean -up. Residents and <br />community members in the number of approximately 200 participated. She <br />thanked the Bay Area Gardeners Association, BFI, the Pride and <br />Beautification Committee, Crystal Springs Catering, Norcal Waste, St. <br />Anthony's Catholic Church, Whole Funds, Young Latino Leaders and the <br />San Mateo Credit Union. <br />C. Council Member Bain — stated that on Saturday, June 25, he attended a <br />Woodside Plaza neighborhood meeting where the two main topics were <br />neighborhood traffic and trees. He conveyed to the meeting attendants <br />that Council had supported a half time staff person focused on <br />neighborhood traffic issues that met with enthusiasm.
