<br />,E:S:djk ("""'101/91 <br /> <br />(091/28) <br /> <br />0 RIG I N A L <br /> <br />7/22/91 <br /> <br />RES 0 L UTI 0 N <br /> <br />N O. <br /> <br />1156'5 <br /> <br />---------- <br /> <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING AND AUTHORIZING THE PURCHASE OF <br />ONE (1) 15-FOOT ROTARY MOWER UNDER THE COOPERATIVE <br />PURCHASE PROVISIONS OF THE CITY OF SUNNYVALE BID <br />#F900I-35 <br /> <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to Redwood City Code Section 2.80 the City <br /> <br />of <br /> <br />Redwood <br /> <br />City <br /> <br />may <br /> <br />request <br /> <br />any <br /> <br />local <br /> <br />agency <br /> <br />as <br /> <br />defined by <br /> <br />Section <br /> <br />54201 <br /> <br />of <br /> <br />the <br /> <br />California <br /> <br />Government <br /> <br />Code <br /> <br />to <br /> <br />purchase <br /> <br />materials, equipment, or supplies on behalf of the City; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />the City of Sunnyvale, <br /> <br />Bid #F900l-35 includes a <br /> <br />Cooperative Purchase provision which offers other public agencies <br /> <br />the <br /> <br />opportunity <br /> <br />to <br /> <br />purchase <br /> <br />equipment <br /> <br />from <br /> <br />West <br /> <br />Star <br /> <br />Distributing, Inc.; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the aforesaid bid of the City of Sunnyvale conforms <br /> <br />to the requirements of Redwood City Code Section 2.80; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, it is the intention and desire of this Council to <br /> <br />purchase <br /> <br />one <br /> <br />( 1 ) <br /> <br />I5-foot <br /> <br />rot.ary <br /> <br />mower <br /> <br />from <br /> <br />West <br /> <br />Star <br /> <br />Distributing, Inc. pursuant to the Cooperative Purchase provision <br /> <br />of the City of Sunnyvale Bid #F9001-35; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br /> <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />1. <br /> <br />The City Manager is hereby authorized and directed to <br /> <br />execute all necessary and appropriate documents for and on behalf <br /> <br />of the City of Redwood City for the purchase of one (1) <br /> <br />15-foot <br /> <br />rotary mower from West Star Distributing, Inc. pursuant to t.he <br /> <br />Cooperative <br /> <br />Purchase <br /> <br />provisions <br /> <br />of <br /> <br />the City of <br /> <br />Sunnyvale Bid <br /> <br />#F9001-35, a copy of which is on file in the office of the City <br /> <br />--"lr' <br />
