NOLTE AND ASSOCIATES, INC. RELATING TO CONSTRUCTION <br />INSPECTION SERVICES FOR THE CHESTNUT STREET <br />RECONSTRUCTION PROJECT, AND OTHER SERVICES AS MAY BE <br />ASSIGNED RELATING TO SAID IMPROVEMENTS <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />the <br /> <br />City <br /> <br />of <br /> <br />Redwood <br /> <br />City <br /> <br />plans <br /> <br />to <br /> <br />reconstruct <br /> <br />Chestnut Street from Veterans Boulevard to El Camino Real <br /> <br />(the <br /> <br />"Project"); and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />City <br /> <br />desires <br /> <br />to <br /> <br />engage <br /> <br />George <br /> <br />S. <br /> <br />Nolte <br /> <br />and <br /> <br />Associates, Inc. of San Jose, California, for certain services, <br /> <br />including, but not limited to, construction inspection services, <br /> <br />and <br /> <br />other <br /> <br />services <br /> <br />during <br /> <br />construct,ion <br /> <br />of <br /> <br />said <br /> <br />improvements <br /> <br />relating to the Project; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />George S. Nolte and Associates, <br /> <br />Inc., <br /> <br />represents <br /> <br />that it is qualified, on the basis of experience and expertise, <br /> <br />to perform the unique professional inspection services required <br /> <br />for the Project; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, there has been presented to, and reviewed by, this <br /> <br />Council a proposed agreement with the aforesaid consultant for <br /> <br />the performance of said services, <br /> <br />and this Council desires to <br /> <br />approve said agreement and authorize execution thereof; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br /> <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />That certain agreement entitled <br /> <br />"Agreement - Construct,ion <br /> <br />Engineering <br /> <br />Inspection <br /> <br />Services <br /> <br />for <br /> <br />Chestnut <br /> <br />Street <br /> <br />11560 <br /> <br />-"hr <br />
