<br />DES:dft ~/19/91 (070/29) <br /> <br />welfare <br /> <br />and <br /> <br />safety <br /> <br />in order <br /> <br />to prevent <br /> <br />injury <br /> <br />to persons <br /> <br />or <br /> <br />damage property during the period of construction of County's <br /> <br />Project. <br /> <br />2. <br /> <br />Prior <br /> <br />to <br /> <br />the <br /> <br />closure <br /> <br />of <br /> <br />the <br /> <br />Closure Area <br /> <br />and <br /> <br />as <br /> <br />a <br /> <br />condition <br /> <br />precedent. <br /> <br />to <br /> <br />the <br /> <br />closure <br /> <br />hereinafter <br /> <br />ordered, <br /> <br />the <br /> <br />County <br /> <br />of <br /> <br />San <br /> <br />Ma t.eo <br /> <br />shall <br /> <br />enter <br /> <br />into <br /> <br />that <br /> <br />certain <br /> <br />agreement <br /> <br />enti tIed" Agreement - Temporary Street Closure <br /> <br />(Warren Street)" <br /> <br />(form dated 6/19/91) by and between the City of Redwood City, a <br /> <br />municipal corporation of the State of California and the County <br /> <br />of San Mateo, a political subdivision of the State of California, <br /> <br />a copy of which agreement is on file in the office of the City <br /> <br />Clerk <br /> <br />to <br /> <br />which <br /> <br />copy <br /> <br />reference <br /> <br />is <br /> <br />hereby <br /> <br />made <br /> <br />for <br /> <br />the <br /> <br />full <br /> <br />particulars thereof, which agreement is hereby approved and the <br /> <br />City Manager and City Clerk are hereby authorized and directed to <br /> <br />execute, and to attest thereto, respectively, said agreement for <br /> <br />and on behalf of the City of Redwood City. <br /> <br />3. <br /> <br />This Council does hereby order the temporary closure to <br /> <br />vehicular and pedestrian traffic of the Closure Area commencing <br /> <br />upon (i) the date the last party to sign the agreement described <br /> <br />in paragraph two hereof, <br /> <br />signs <br /> <br />said agreement or <br /> <br />(ii) <br /> <br />July 1, <br /> <br />1991, whichever date later occurs and ending upon completion of <br /> <br />construction <br /> <br />of <br /> <br />County's <br /> <br />Project <br /> <br />and <br /> <br />rescission <br /> <br />of <br /> <br />this <br /> <br />resolution <br /> <br />or <br /> <br />other <br /> <br />action <br /> <br />by <br /> <br />this <br /> <br />Council <br /> <br />terminating <br /> <br />the <br /> <br />temporary closure. <br /> <br />4. <br /> <br />The City Clerk is hereby authorized and direct.ed t.o <br /> <br />t.ransmit a certified copy of t.his <br /> <br />resolution to the Board of <br /> <br />Supervisors, <br /> <br />County <br /> <br />of <br /> <br />San <br /> <br />Mateo, <br /> <br />together <br /> <br />wit.h <br /> <br />an <br /> <br />original <br /> <br />counterpart of the agreement approved hereby for execution by <br /> <br />2 <br /> <br />11534 <br />
