<br />YES:dft <br /> <br />6/('I~/9l (063/29) <br /> <br />0 RIG I N A L <br /> <br />6/10/91 <br /> <br />---------- <br /> <br />RES 0 L UTI 0 N <br /> <br />N O. <br /> <br />11532 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING AND AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF <br />JOINT EXERCISE OF POWERS AGREEMENT BY AND BETWEEN <br />THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY AND THE REDEVELOPMENT <br />AGENCY OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY <br /> <br />(CITY OF REDWOOD CITY PUBLIC FINANCING AUTHORITY) <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />the <br /> <br />City <br /> <br />of <br /> <br />Redwood <br /> <br />City <br /> <br />("Cityll) <br /> <br />and <br /> <br />the <br /> <br />Redevelopment Agency of the City of Redwood City ("Agency") <br />desire to create and est.ablish, pursuant to t.he laws of the State <br />of California, the City of Redwood City Public Financing <br /> <br />Authority (the "Authority"); and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, there has been presented to, and reviewed by, this <br /> <br />Council a proposed form of joint exercise of powers agreement by <br /> <br />and between the City and Agency, <br /> <br />which agreement creates and <br /> <br />establishes the Authority; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br /> <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />That certain agreement entitled, <br /> <br />"Joint Exercise of Powers <br /> <br />Agreement" by and between t.he City of Redwood City, a municipal <br /> <br />corporat.ion duly organized and existing under the laws of t.he <br /> <br />St.ate of California, and the Redevelopment Agency of the City of <br /> <br />Redwood <br /> <br />Ci ty, <br /> <br />a <br /> <br />public <br /> <br />body, <br /> <br />corporate <br /> <br />and <br /> <br />politic, <br /> <br />duly <br /> <br />organized and exist.ing under the laws of the State of California <br />(form da t.ed 6/05/91), creating and establishing the City of <br />Redwood City Public Financing Aut.hority, a copy of which <br /> <br />agreement is on file in the office of the City Clerk, to which <br /> <br />copy reference is hereby made for the full particulars thereof, <br />
