<br />MINUTE ORDER <br />CITY COUNCIL MEETING <br /> <br />July 11, 2005 <br />MO. 05-138 <br /> <br />CITY CLERK DEPARTMENT <br />Redwood City <br /> <br />DATE: <br /> <br />July 12, 2005 <br /> <br />Attention: <br /> <br />City Attorney <br />Redevelopment Division <br /> <br />SUBJECT: Approval of Jefferson Avenue "Road Diet" lane configuration <br />plan between Middlefield Road and Marshall Street. <br /> <br />AGENDA ITEM: 7B (702) <br /> <br />Meeting of the Council of the City of Redwood City on July 11, 2005. <br /> <br />Present: Council Member Aguirre, Bain, Foust, Hartnett, Pierce, <br />and Mayor Ira <br /> <br />Absent: Council Member Howard <br /> <br />The following motion was made, carried and entered on the Minutes <br /> <br />M/S Hartnett/Bain approve the plan to modify the traffic land and parking <br />configuration on Jefferson Avenue, between Middlefield Road and <br />Marshall Street, from two lanes in each direction with parallel parking on <br />both sides, to a new configuration with one lane in each direction and a <br />center left-turn lane, with angle parking on one side and parallel parking <br />remaining on the other side Prior to the implementation of the plan, <br />Council to receive an information report from staff as to the method of <br />performance monitoring. The information report will include a schedule <br />for periodic performance reports. <br /> <br />The motion passed by a unanimous voice vote by all those present. <br />\.~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~.
