These metallic based pipeline systems were built in phases to support the <br />development of Redwood Shores. Some are 30 years old. Most were constructed with <br />a now-substandard corrosion protection system, while others were designed without <br />proper protection or shared-protection against the most corrosive soil environment <br />(Zone 1) in the City. <br /> <br />The three (3) bids received at the bid opening on July 14, 2005, are summarized below: <br /> <br />No. Bidder Bid Amount <br />1. Based on the bids received, staff believes that the bid is <br />reasonable and responsive, and recommends awarding the contract to Corrpro <br />Companies, Inc. <br /> <br />Corrpro Companies, Inc. has successfully completed similar projects in the past, and is <br />a qualified contractor. <br /> <br />A complete copy of the agreement is avail.
