<br />OES:djk ()4/30/91 <br /> <br />(054/28) <br /> <br />0 RIG I N A L <br /> <br />5/13/91 <br /> <br />RES 0 L UTI 0 N <br /> <br />N O. <br /> <br />11518 <br /> <br />---------- <br /> <br />RESOLUTION ACCEPTING BID FOR PURCHASE OF VEHICLE <br />EMISSION ANALYZER AND AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF PURCHASE <br />DOCUMENTS IN CONNECTION THEREWITH <br /> <br />WHEREAS, not less than three wri t.ten bids were solicited for <br /> <br />the <br /> <br />purchase <br /> <br />of one <br /> <br />( 1) <br /> <br />Stat.e <br /> <br />of California approved vehicle <br /> <br />emission analyzer; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to said solicitation, three (3) bids were <br /> <br />received; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />K <br /> <br />& <br /> <br />L <br /> <br />Automotive <br /> <br />Service, <br /> <br />San <br /> <br />Francisco, <br /> <br />California, <br /> <br />is <br /> <br />the <br /> <br />lowest <br /> <br />responsible <br /> <br />bidder <br /> <br />and <br /> <br />it <br /> <br />is <br /> <br />the <br /> <br />intention and desire of this Council to accept the bid of said <br /> <br />company; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br /> <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />1. <br /> <br />The bid of K & L Automotive Service, <br /> <br />San Francisco, <br /> <br />California <br /> <br />for <br /> <br />the <br /> <br />purchase <br /> <br />of <br /> <br />one <br /> <br />(1) <br /> <br />State <br /> <br />of <br /> <br />California <br /> <br />approved Bar 90 Emission Analyzer at. a total bid price of Twelve <br /> <br />Thousand Nine Hundred and No/100 Dollars ($12,900.00) computed in <br /> <br />accordance with said bidder's proposal dated April 17, <br /> <br />1991, is <br /> <br />hereby accepted; <br /> <br />said bidder is hereby found and declared to be <br /> <br />the lowest responsible bidder for said Bar 90 Emission Analyzer. <br /> <br />2. <br /> <br />The City Manager is hereby authorized and direct.ed to <br /> <br />execute <br /> <br />such <br /> <br />purchase <br /> <br />orders <br /> <br />or <br /> <br />other <br /> <br />appropriate <br /> <br />purchase <br /> <br />documents <br /> <br />(in <br /> <br />form approved <br /> <br />by <br /> <br />the <br /> <br />City <br /> <br />A t.torney) <br /> <br />on <br /> <br />behalf <br /> <br />'T 1r <br />
