<br />D3S:dft <br /> <br />~/1/91 <br /> <br />(058/29) <br /> <br />0 RIG I N A L <br /> <br />5/6/91 <br /> <br />RES 0 L UTI 0 N <br /> <br />N O. <br /> <br />11515 <br /> <br />---------- <br /> <br />RESOLUTION ACCEPTING BID FOR PURCHASE OF NIGHT VISION <br />EQUIPMENT AND AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF PURCHASE <br />DOCUMENTS IN CONNECTION THEREWITH <br /> <br />WHEREAS, not less than three wri t,ten bids were solicited for <br /> <br />the purchase of two sets of night vision equipment (goggles); and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to said solicitation bids were received; <br /> <br />and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Special Services Company, PIano, Texas, is the <br /> <br />lowest responsible bidder and it is the intention and desire of <br /> <br />this Council to accept the bid of said company; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br /> <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />1. <br /> <br />The bid of the Special Services Company, PIano, Texas, <br /> <br />for the sale of two sets of night vision equipment (goggles) at a <br /> <br />total bid price of $15,837.07, computed in accordance with said <br /> <br />bidder's proposal of February, 1991, is hereby accepted; and said <br /> <br />bidder is hereby found and declared to be the lowest responsible <br /> <br />bidder for said night vision equipment. <br /> <br />2. <br /> <br />The City Manager is hereby authorized and directed to <br /> <br />execute <br /> <br />such <br /> <br />purchase <br /> <br />orders <br /> <br />or <br /> <br />other <br /> <br />appropriate <br /> <br />purchase <br /> <br />document,s (in the form approved by the City Att,orney) on behalf of <br /> <br />the City of Redwood City for the purchase of two sets of night <br /> <br />vision equipment (goggles) in accordance with the above-mentioned <br /> <br />bid proposal, a copy of which proposal is presently on file in <br /> <br />-' 1r <br />
