<br />i. :..J.) j <br /> <br />CITY OF REDWOOD CITY <br />Redwood City, California <br /> <br />PART I <br /> <br />NOTICE TO BIDDERS <br /> <br />City of Redwood City <br /> <br />LEASE OF CITY OWNED LAND <br /> <br /> NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that sealed bids will be received in <br />the office of the City Clerk, City Hall, Redwood City, <br />California, until 3:15 p.m., March 13, 1991, for the following: <br /> <br />Lease of that certain real property situated adjacent <br />to the intersection of Cedar Street and Hilton Street <br />in the City of Redwood City, County of San Mateo, State <br />of California, more particularly described on Exhibit <br />"A" of the form lease agreement contained in this bid <br />package. <br /> <br />The successful bidder will be obligated to execute a lease <br /> <br />agreement with the City of Redwood City, copies of which are on <br /> <br />file in the office of the City Clerk of the City of Redwood City, <br /> <br />and are available for examination. <br /> <br />The purpose of this lease is to provide for the construction <br /> <br />operation, <br /> <br />and <br /> <br />maintenance <br /> <br />of <br /> <br />a <br /> <br />single <br /> <br />family <br /> <br />home <br /> <br />designed <br /> <br />especially for shared living which will be affordable to low and <br /> <br />very low income persons and small families as defined in Health <br /> <br />and Safety Code Sections 50079.5 and/or 50105. <br /> <br />Preference will <br /> <br />be given to a non-profit housing organization with a proven track <br /> <br />record in delivering such shared housing services and who has <br /> <br />also <br /> <br />developed <br /> <br />and <br /> <br />managed <br /> <br />other <br /> <br />shared <br /> <br />living <br /> <br />projects, <br /> <br />particularly in Redwood City. <br /> <br />The Lessee shall not make a profit <br /> <br />from the use and operations of the Leased Premises hereunder. <br /> <br />.TT. <br />
