i) That the Board directs staff to submit Requests for Proposal (RFP's) to qualified <br /> residential developers. The response must include a site plan and elevations, sufficient for <br />_ the Agency to develop a general outline of the proposed project's design. The maximum <br /> unit counts must not exceed the maximum proposed in the new Downtown Plan - 55 <br /> units/care (396-445 units). <br /> <br /> ii) Only one owner - W.L. Butler - responded to the owner's invitation to participate. Mr. <br /> Butler proposed 600 housing units. The Redevelopment criteria adopted by the Board <br /> specified no more than 300 units. However, since the proposed team is a strong one, staff <br /> recommends Mr. Butler be allowed to resubmit a proposal under the same terms as other <br /> residential developers. All the other owners in the area would be offered the same <br /> opportunity to resubmit. <br /> <br /> 6. CLOSED SESSION- None <br /> <br /> 7.
