<br />DES:dft ' 123/91 (041/29) <br /> <br />0 RIG I N A L <br /> <br />1/28/91 <br /> <br />RES 0 L UTI 0 N <br /> <br />N O. <br /> <br />11473 <br /> <br />---------- <br /> <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING PREPARATION OF COMMUNITY <br />INFORMATION BOOKLET AND AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF <br />CONTRACT DOCUMENTS IN PURSUANCE THEREOF <br /> <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to recommendation of the City's Pride and <br /> <br />Beautification Committee this Council desires to provide citizens <br /> <br />of the City of Redwood City with a community information booklet <br /> <br />which will <br /> <br />include <br /> <br />information <br /> <br />on <br /> <br />recycling, <br /> <br />city codes, <br /> <br />and <br /> <br />other community service information; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, specifications for the preparation of said booklet <br /> <br />have been prepared by the Redwood City Pride and Beautification <br /> <br />Committee and proposals for the production and printing of said <br /> <br />booklet have been received; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />this <br /> <br />Council <br /> <br />desires <br /> <br />to <br /> <br />accept <br /> <br />the <br /> <br />proposal <br /> <br />hereinafter described; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br /> <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />1. <br /> <br />That certain proposal for the preparation of a Community <br /> <br />Information Booklet entitled, "A Guide to Redwood City" submitted <br /> <br />by <br /> <br />the <br /> <br />Sandul <br /> <br />Company <br /> <br />of <br /> <br />San <br /> <br />Mateo, <br /> <br />California, <br /> <br />dated <br /> <br />December 20, 1990, in the amount of Twenty Seven Thousand Seven <br /> <br />Hundred Thirty and No/100 Dollars ($27,730.00) for a twenty four <br /> <br />page edition, a copy of which proposal is on file in the office <br /> <br />of the City Manager, to which copy reference is hereby made for <br /> <br />the full particulars thereof, is hereby accepted. <br /> <br />---'.".,.---,r--- , <br />
