ATTY/RESO.0101/CC RESO AMENDING THE SALARY & WAGE PLAN FOR IAFF <br />REV: 11-03-17 MI <br />Page 1 of 2 <br />RESOLUTION NO. _____ <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD <br />CITY AMENDING THE SALARY AND WAGE PLAN FOR <br />CLASSIFICATIONS REPRESENTED BY THE SAN MATEO COUNTY <br />INTERNATIONAL ASSOCIATION OF FIREFIGHTERS LOCAL 2400 <br /> <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City and the San Mateo County International Association of <br />Firefighters Local 2400 (“IAFF”) have reached agreement on a one year extension to <br />the current Memorandum of Understanding; and <br />WHEREAS, the parties agreed to amend the salary and wage plan by granting a <br />3% Cost-of-living adjustment effective January 8, 2018; and <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to the agreement, the classifications of Fire Prevention <br />Officer and Deputy Fire Marshal shall receive equity adjustments to bring their total <br />compensation to the labor market median. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY <br />OF REDWOOD CITY, AS FOLLOWS: <br />1. The City’s Salary and Wage plan for classifications represented by IAFF <br />shall be amended as set forth in Exhibit A. <br /> 2.
