This <br />includes an increase to the professional development reimbursement allowance from <br />$750 annually to $2400 annually, and a cell phone allowance of $75 monthly, equal to <br />the allowances previously granted to the City Manager. <br />ALTERNATIVES <br />1. Council may choose not to grant a compensation adjustment for either the City <br />Manager or City Attorney, or both. <br /> 2. Council may request that the Personnel Sub-committee propose an alternative <br />compensation package for either the City Manager or City Attorney, or both. <br /> <br />FISCAL IMPACT <br />The combined salary and benefit increases will result in a total annual cost of $39,900. <br />This amount includes salary, additional benefits for the City Attorney, salary-driven <br />benefits (such as pension contributions), and required payroll taxes. <br /> <br />ENVIRONMENTAL REVIEW <br />This activity is not a project under CEQA as defined in CEQA Guidelines, section <br />15378, because it has no potential for resulting in either a direct or foreseeable physical <br />change in the environment. <br /> <br /> <br />___________________________ <br />JOHN D.
