Bidder shall hand <br />deliver or mail one (1) copy of its bid in sealed envelope(s) to: <br /> <br />City of Redwood City <br />Attn: City Clerk <br />1017 Middlefield Road <br />Redwood City, CA 94063 <br /> <br />Sealed bids must bear the Bidder’s name and address, and be clearly marked “SEALED BID <br />FOR STORM PUMP REPAIR SERVICES DUE 3:30 P.M. THURSDAY, OCTOBER 19.” <br /> <br />Late bids will not be considered. <br /> <br />D. WITHDRAWAL OF BIDS <br /> <br />Any Bidder may withdraw his or her bid by written request, addressed to the City contact <br />specified in Section XV, at any time prior to the Bid Submittal Deadline. <br /> <br /> <br />SECTION VI. SCOPE OF SERVICES <br /> <br />Contractor will furnish all labor, parts, materials, and equipment necessary to repair pumps and motors <br />in the City’s storm water pump stations. This project spans different locations in Redwood City, <br />California including Redwood Shores. The scope of work for each station is listed below. <br /> <br />1. Station K, Pump #1 <br /> Pump Specifications: Berkeley Model 1616 propeller pump <br /> 30 horsepower motor <br /> Needed repair parts: <br />o (1) Berkeley 1616/20 – 1 stage bronze bowl assembly <br />o (1) 416 Stainless steel lower line shaft <br />o (1) 416 Stainless steel upper line shaft <br />o (1) 416 Stainless steel head/motor shaft <br />o (1) Bronze top bowl bearing <br />o (1) Oil tube line shaft bearings <br />o (1) Top tension tube bearing <br />o (1) Lower oil tube <br />6.1.B. - Page 14
