Resolution to Amend the Joint Powers Agreement Establishing the San Mateo <br />Pre - Hospital Emergency Services Providers Group. <br />Recommendation: <br />Move to adopt the Resolution to amend the Joint Powers Agreement, which will <br />amend two sections of the original JPA Agreement that has been in effect since <br />January 1, 1999. (304) <br />RESOLUTION 14659 OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY APPROVING SPECIFIC <br />AMENDMENTS TO THE JOINT POWERS AGREEMENT ESTABLISHING THE SAN <br />MATEO PRE - HOSPITAL EMERGENCY SERVICES PROVIDERS GROUP (JPA) <br />B. Submission of certain specified amendments to the Redwood City Charter to the <br />voters of the City of Redwood City at the consolidated General /Special Municipal <br />Election of November 8, 2005. <br />Mayor Ira stated that the proposed Charter amendments are the last of the non- <br />controversial. An attempt is made each City election year to address non- <br />controversial details in the Charter and any amendment that might be more <br />substantial will involve focus groups or study groups before going to the ballot. <br />Recommendation: <br />1. Adopt a resolution authorizing submission of certain specified amendments <br />to the Redwood City Charter to the voters of the City of Redwood City at the <br />consolidated General/Special Election of November S, 2005.
