AGREEMENT <br />COMMUNITY OVERCOMING RELATIONSHIP ABUSE (CORA) <br />(CORA Safe House (Emergency Shelter) Program) <br />THIS AGREEMENT, made and entered into this 1b day of <br />N0vf,rrdbtr2017, by and between the CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, a charter <br />city and municipal corporation of the State of California ("City") and COMMUNITY <br />OVERCOMING RELATIONSHIP ABUSE (CORA), a California nonprofit <br />organization ("Contractor"; collectively the `Parties"). <br />W ITN ESS ET H: <br />WHEREAS, Contractor provides certain services through programs, <br />including the program described in Exhibits "A" ("Program & Quantitative Goals"), <br />and "B" ('Program Budget"), attached hereto and made a part hereof; and <br />WHEREAS, Contractor has requested financial assistance in order to <br />conduct the program described in Exhibit A for residents of City during the fiscal <br />year commencing July 1, 2017, and ending June 30, 2018 (the "Fiscal Year); <br />and <br />NOW, THEREFORE, the Parties hereby agree as follows: <br />1. FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE. City will allocate to Contractor the sum <br />of Twelve Thousand Five Hundred Eighty Nine and No/100 Dollars ($12,589) for <br />exclusive use by Contractor during the fiscal year commencing July 1, 2017, and <br />ending June 30, 2018, solely for the purposes described in Paragraph 2. <br />2. USE OF FUNDS.
