ORIGINAL <br />AGREEMENT <br />OMBUDSMAN SERVICES OF SAN MATEO COUNTY, INC. <br />(Ombudsman Services of San Mateo County, Inc.) <br />THIS AGREEMENT, made and entered into this )0 day of <br />NOV2rdb2r" 2017, by and between the CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, a charter <br />city and municipal corporation of the State of California ("City") and <br />OMBUDSMAN SERVICES OF SAN MATEO COUNTY, INC., a California <br />nonprofit organization ("Contractor"; collectively the "Parties"). <br />WITNESSETH: <br />WHEREAS, Contractor provides certain services through programs, <br />including the program described in Exhibits "A" ("Program & Quantitative Goals"), <br />and "B" ('Program Budget'), attached hereto and made a part hereof; and <br />WHEREAS, Contractor has requested financial assistance in order to <br />conduct the program described in Exhibit A for residents of City during the fiscal <br />year commencing July 1, 2017, and ending June 30, 2018 (the "Fiscal Year'); <br />NOW, THEREFORE, the Parties hereby agree as follows: <br />1. FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE. City will allocate to Contractor the sum <br />of Twelve Thousand Five Hundred Eighty -Nine and No/100 Dollars ($12,589) for <br />exclusive use by Contractor during the fiscal year commencing July 1, 2017, and <br />ending June 30, 2018, solely for the purposes described in Paragraph 2. <br />2. USE OF FUNDS. Contractor will use the funds provided pursuant <br />to Paragraph 1 solely for the Project objectives described in Exhibit A and Exhibit <br />B, attached hereto and by this reference incorporated herein. <br />3. CHANGES TO PROJECT.
