ORIGINAL <br />AGREEMENT <br />REBUILDING TOGETHER PENINSULA <br />(National Rebuilding Day - Home Rehabilitation Program) <br />THIS AGREEMENT, made and entered into this /(0 day of <br />MvCmber 2017, by and between the CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, a charter <br />city and municipal corporation of the State of California ("City") and REBUILDING <br />TOGETHER PENINSULA, a California nonprofit organization ("Contractor"; <br />collectively the "Parties'). <br />WITNESSETH: <br />WHEREAS, Contractor provides certain services through programs, <br />including the program described in Exhibits "A" ("Program & Quantitative Goals"), <br />and "B" ("Program Budget"), attached hereto and made a part hereof; and <br />WHEREAS, Contractor has requested financial assistance in order to <br />conduct the program described in Exhibit A for residents of City during the fiscal <br />year commencing July 1, 2017, and ending June 30, 2018 (the "Fiscal Year"); <br />NOW, THEREFORE, the Parties hereby agree as follows: <br />1. FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE. City will allocate to Contractor the sum <br />of Twenty Thousand and No/100 Dollars ($20,000) for exclusive use by <br />Contractor during the fiscal year commencing July 1, 2017, and ending June 30, <br />2018, solely for the purposes described in Paragraph 2. <br />2. USE OF FUNDS.
