<br />DES:ð'" <br /> <br />09/09/96 <br /> <br />(001/72) <br /> <br />, ORIGINAL <br /> <br />A G R E E MEN T <br /> <br />--------- <br /> <br />PROFESSIONAL CONSULTING SERVICES - <br />SOILS INVESTIGATION - EL CAMINO REAL AREA <br /> <br />r <br />THIS AGREEMENT, mad(c"jnd entered into this day of <br />Arc', \ , 199~ :-?y and between <br />a mun~cipa1 corporation of the <br /> <br />("City") , <br /> <br />and <br /> <br />SUBSURFACE <br /> <br />CONSULTANTS, <br /> <br />the CITY OF REDWOOD <br />State of California, <br />INC. of Lafayette, <br /> <br />CITY, <br /> <br />California ("Consultant") ¡ <br /> <br />WIT N E SSE T H : <br /> <br />WHEREAS, City requires soils investigation in the vicinity <br /> <br />of EI Camino Real in the City of Redwood City <br /> <br />(the "Project") ¡ <br /> <br />and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />in <br /> <br />connection <br /> <br />with <br /> <br />the <br /> <br />Project, <br /> <br />City <br /> <br />requires <br /> <br />professional consulting services¡ and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />Consultant <br /> <br />represents <br /> <br />that <br /> <br />it <br /> <br />possesses <br /> <br />the <br /> <br />experience, and is qualified, to perform the aforesaid services <br /> <br />for the Project; <br /> <br />NOW, THE.REFORE, the parties agree as follows: <br /> <br />1. <br /> <br />CONSULTANT'S SERVICES. <br /> <br />Consultant shall perform soils <br /> <br />investigation and related services as described in Exhibit "A" <br /> <br />hereof, <br /> <br />attached <br /> <br />hereto <br /> <br />and <br /> <br />by <br /> <br />this <br /> <br />reference <br /> <br />incorporated <br /> <br />herein. <br /> <br />COMPENSATION¡ EXPENSES¡ PAYMENT. City shall compensate <br /> <br />2. <br /> <br />Consultant for all services performed by Consultant hereunder in <br /> <br />an amount based upon Consultant's hourly rates that are currently <br /> <br />prevailing during the time of the performance of said services. <br /> <br />'T--' <br />
