The operations <br />manual included background with electrical schematics, <br />theory, operating strategies, equipment and controls, <br />procedures, design criteria, troubleshooting, safety, <br />figures and alarms. Equipment included two high- <br />voltage circuit switchers, 20 MVA step-down padmount <br />transformers (69-4.16kV), automatic on -load tap changer <br />and metal -clad switchgear (5kV, 3,OOOamp). <br />91 st Avenue Wastewater Treatment Plant Unified <br />Plant Expansion, City of Phoenix, AZ: Project <br />Engineer providing planning and coordinating start-up <br />activities for plant start-up. Provided onsite operations <br />assistance and personnel training. The expansion project <br />involved the addition of four complete treatment trains <br />increasing the capacity of the treatment plant to 179 mgd <br />to 230 mgd and a separate centrate treatment facility. <br />Wards Island Wastewater Treatment Plant <br />Stabilization Project, Solids Handling Facility, <br />New York City Department of Environmental <br />Protection, NY: Project Engineer providing operations <br />and maintenance documentation, coordination of <br />start-up activities, and process training following the <br />rehabilitation of the Wards Island WPCP (275 mgd) <br />Solids Handling Facilities (SHF) including gravity <br />thickening, sludge pumping, digestion and gas collection <br />processes. Wards Island also processes solids from North <br />River (170 mgd) and Owls Head (120 mgd) wastewater <br />treatment plants. <br />Operator Training Program, City of Goodyear, <br />AZ: Project Engineer providing a long-term training <br />program for the City of Goodyear's water reclamation <br />facility operations and maintenance personnel. Training <br />consisted of 21 lessons covering primary, secondary and <br />tertiary wastewater treatment processes, mathematics <br />and laboratory analysis. The last training sessions focused <br />on developing facility -specific standard procedures to <br />address daily operation requirements. <br />
