6.1.B. - Page 3 <br />8 November 2017 <br />Dear Mayor Seybert and City Council Members, <br />My current term as Redwood City's Trustee and representative on the San Mateo County and Vector <br />Control District Board of Trustees will end this December 2017 and I would be honored if you would <br />consider allowing me to continue in this role. As you know, I have been serving as Redwood City's <br />representative since 2014. 1 currently serve as the Board Assistant Secretary, Chair of the Manager's <br />Evaluation Committee, as a member of both the Policy and the Environment and Public Outreach <br />Committees, and as of this evening, have been nominated to continue as the Board Assistant Secretary <br />for another 2 -year term. <br />I greatly value being able to contribute to an organization that works to protect the health of our <br />community, as well as the unique perspective participating in the governance of a Special District that <br />this experience provides me. I feel that I have contributed significantly to the Board and the District <br />governance in my years of service and would very much like to continue to serve the community in this <br />manner.
