<br />Council Members commented that neighborhood associations have discussed <br />activating again to meet and talk about neighborhood surveillance. The Farm Hill <br />neighborhood association was set to meet on Tuesday, August 9 at 7:00 p.m. to <br />discuss the concerns and how everyone can be more proactive. Further stated was <br />the neighborhood grants programmed to enable neighborhoods to discuss concerns <br />and that information is available online or through the City Manager's office. <br />Telephone numbers to call in an emergency would be "911"; after hours non- <br />emergency warranting an officer, call 369-3331; any information about the arson or <br />other information for Police can be given anonymously at 780-7110. Working with <br />neighbors was encouraged and reaching out to Police when necessary. Donations to <br />PAL were encouraged for both financial and peoples' time for the full range of after <br />school programs for the youth. A volunteer boxing instructor, assistance with a <br />community garden and other sorts of donations are currently being sought. <br /> <br />MIS Bain/Howard to waive reading of the Consent Calendar except the ordinances <br />by title, adopt the resolutions and the ordinances, and approve other items. The <br />motion passed by a unanimous roll call vote. <br /> <br />5.1 Section - Motions <br /> <br />A.
