~A-ð

Downtown Precise Plan.

If at the close of this Study Session the City Council is not comfortable moving to a
recommendation, there are several choices:

1. Schedule one or more additional joint Study Sessions to continue to consider the
issues.
2. Schedule a City-Council-only Study Session (without the Planning Commission and
Architectural Review Committee) so the Council can focus the discussion and move
toward a decision.
3. Schedule a community workshop to hear further comments from the community.
(There have already been two community workshops on the Downtown Precise
Plan. This alternative may be used in conjunction with further study sessions)
4. Direct the staff to include at least two alternatives in the EIR that address different
heights with the understanding that the City Council will address these and other
alternatives when the Precise Plan and the EIR come back to the Council with a
recommendation from the Planning Commission.

~~-

Michael Church
Planning Manager

J I Patterson
ommunity Development
Services Director

l¡¿/i;41--

City Manager

Attachments
1.
