Award of Contract - 2017-2018 Watermain Replacement Project (304) <br />Recommendation: <br />By motion, approve and authorize the City Manager to execute the contract <br />documents and award the standard form contract 00520 for the 2017-2018 <br />Watermain Replacement Project to Casey Construction, Inc. of Redwood <br />City for their responsive and responsible low bid of $1,095,950 and authorize <br />the City Manager to increase the contract amount, if necessary, up to 10% of <br />the amount awarded, not to exceed $1,205,545, and find that the project is <br />exempt from the requirements of the California Environmental Quality Act <br />(CEQA) under CEQA Guidelines Section 15302 (Replacement or <br />Reconstruction) MINUTE ORDER 17-214 <br />B.
