EXHIBIT "A" SCOPE OF SERVICES Task 1 — Project Management Task 1.1 — Management Wood Rodgers will provide the project management and coordination for the team necessary to provide assessment service of the existing drainage/flooding conditions in the vicinity of the "Broadway Plaza" development (Project) for the City of Redwood City (City). The Project Manager will be in direct coordination with the City's project manager and staff to ensure proper scheduling of reviews, budget controls, invoice preparation and general coordination. The total duration of this task is anticipated to be 4 months. Task 1.2 — Quality Assurance A Quality Control Plan will be prepared to guide Quality Control on the Project. It is noted Wood Rodgers intends to use its sub consultants to provide independent quality control of Wood Rodgers work products (and vice -versa). The purpose of this subtask is to provide documented quality control and quality assurance procedures for design. Quality Assurance will be provided internally by each team producing the project deliverables. Quality Control will be provided externally by designated independent quality control teams. At the completion of each deliverable production, draft documents will be submitted to the independent Quality Control team. The comments and responses will be documented, provided to the Project Manager and the City for their review and comment. Final work and quality control plan documents incorporating all City comments will be submitted as part of the deliverable. Task 1.3 — Meetings The Wood Rodgers Team will attend and participate in a Kick -Off Meeting via telephone, and one (1) Project Meeting. It is assumed that the Project Manager and the Designer will attend each meeting. Project Management will provide project coordination; communicating issues; setting up the project, preparing a project schedule as well as monitoring and updating the schedule, tracking, and reporting job progress. Task 1.4 — Invoicing/Project Status Reports At the end of each month, Wood Rodgers will prepare a budget/status report outlining the work items performed during the reporting period; budget, schedule, and work progress with respect to the project baseline; and a discussion of upcoming activities scheduled to occur in the subsequent work period. Task 2 — System Review & Research, Field Reconnaissance Task 2.1 — Collect/Review Documents The Wood Rodgers Team will collect and review available models, as-builts, improvement plans, and pump station data for the system provided by the City, as well as any pertinent as- builts from other sources within the study area.
