<br />MINUTE ORDER <br />CITY COUNCIL MEETING <br /> <br />AuQust22.2005 <br />MO. 05-166 <br /> <br />CITY CLERK DEPARTMENT <br />Redwood City <br /> <br />DATE: <br /> <br />August 23,2005 <br /> <br />Attention: <br /> <br />City Attorney <br />Engineering Department <br /> <br />SUBJECT: Redwood City Recycled Water Project - Production and <br />Delivery of Recyled Water (Dual Media Filter (DMF) <br />Mod ifications) <br /> <br />AGENDA ITEM: 5.1 E (304) <br /> <br />Meeting of the Council of the City of Redwood City on August 22, 2005. <br /> <br />Present: Council Member Aguirre, Bain, Foust, Hartnett, Howard, Pierce, <br />and Mayor Ira <br /> <br />Absent: None <br /> <br />The following motion was made, carried and entered on the Minutes <br /> <br />MIS Howard/Bain (1) approve the award of contract by the South Bayside <br />System Authority (SBSA) Commission for the Redwood City Recycled Water <br />Project, Phase 1 - SBSA Facilities Project - Dual Media Filter (DMF) <br />Modifications Project; and (2) request that the SBSA Commission award the <br />above-mentioned contract to the lowest responsible bidder, D.W. Nicholson <br />Corporation of Hayward, California, for their low bid of $2,751,000.00, pursuant <br />to the approved Agreement for Produciton and Delivery of Recycled Water <br />("Agreement") between SBSA and the City of Redwood City, and request that <br />the SBSA Commission and staff enter into a Memorandum of Understanding <br />with the low bidder to reduce the final cost of the project. <br /> <br />The motion passed by a unanimous roll call vote by all those present. <br />..~ f' A.-.AA I A) ÙI~ (!Æ Cf)J-1lL <br /> <br />'fr1 ~~ ~.--J .':J <br /> <br />Patricia S.
