<br />ORIGINAL <br /> <br />AGREEMENT <br /> <br />ARCHITECTURAL AND CONCEPTUAL DESIGN SERVICES - <br />RENOVATION OF PLAYGROUNDS AT STULSAFT AND STAFFORD PARKS <br /> <br />THIS AGREEMENT, made and entered into this 5 day of <br />~, 1997, by and between the CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, a <br />municipal corporation of the State of California, ("City") and MOORE IACOFANO <br />GOL TSMAN, INC. of Berkeley, California ("Architecr); <br /> <br />WITNESSETH: <br /> <br />WHEREAS, City proposes the renovation of existing playgrounds at <br /> <br />Stulsaft and Stafford Parks in the City of Redwood City (the "Project"); and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, in connection with the Project, the City requires architectural <br /> <br />and conceptual design services; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Architect represents that it possesses the experience, and is <br /> <br />qualified to perform the aforesaid services for the Project; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, the parties hereto agree as follows: <br /> <br />1. <br /> <br />ARCHITECT'S SERVICES. Architect shall review, pre~dre and <br /> <br />perform architecturaVconceptual design and related services described in Exhibit <br /> <br />"A" hereof, attached hereto and by this reference incorporated herein. <br /> <br />2. COMPENSATION: EXPENSES: PAYMENT. City shall compensate <br /> <br />Architect or all services performed by Architect hereunder in an amount based <br /> <br />upon Architect's hourly rates that are prevailing during the time of the <br /> <br />performance of said services.
