<br />ORIGINAL <br /> <br />AGREEMENT <br /> <br />PROFESSIONAL ENGINEERING SERVICES - <br />SYSTEM MAINTENANCE AND TECHNICAL SUPPORT FOR THE <br />SUPERVISORY CONTROL AND DATA ACQUISITION (SCADA) SYSTEM <br /> <br />THIS AGREEMENT, made and entered into this ?:>o1\.... day of <br />l':ket2'7Y'\ht"A-, 2000, by and between the CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, a <br /> <br />municipal corporation of the State of California, ("City"), and THE EDCCO <br /> <br />GROUP of San Carlos, California ("Consultant"); <br /> <br />WITNESSETH: <br /> <br />WHEREAS, City requires system maintenance and technical support <br /> <br />services for the supervisory control and data acquisition ("SCADA") system (the <br /> <br />"Project"); and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, in connection with the Project, the City requires professional <br /> <br />engineering services; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Consultant represents that it possesses the experience, and <br /> <br />is qualified to perform the aforesaid services for the Project; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, the parties hereto agree as follows: <br /> <br />1. <br /> <br />CONSULTANT'S SERVICES. <br /> <br />Consultant shall provide technical <br /> <br />support to ensure Y2K compliance as well as the optimal operation and <br /> <br />maintenance to the SCADA system and perform related engineering services <br /> <br />described in Exhibit "A" hereof, attached hereto and by this reference <br /> <br />incorporated herein. <br /> <br />Agmt-427 <br />F: \shared\Redwood\Cou ncil <br />FX5:djk <br />12/07/00 <br /> <br />1 <br />
