<br />R~SO.bUILON <br /> <br />N O. <br /> <br />RESOLUTION ACCEPTING BID FOR THE COMPREHENSIVE <br />STREET TREE MAINTENANCE PROJECT 1998-1999; <br />AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF AGREEMENT FOR SAID <br />WORK; AND DIRECTING RETURN OF BID SECURITY <br />DEPOSITS <br /> <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to Resolution No. 13378 adopted July 6, 1998, the <br /> <br />City Clerk advertised for bids for the Comprehensive Street Tree Maintenance <br /> <br />Project 1998-1999; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to said advertisement, three bids were received for <br /> <br />the performance of said work and filed with the City Clerk; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Environmental Care, Inc. dba Arbor Care of San Jose, <br /> <br />California is the lowest responsible bidder and it is the intention and desire of <br /> <br />this Council to accept the bid of said bidder; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE; <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCil OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD <br /> <br />CITY, AS FOllOWS: <br /> <br />1. <br /> <br />The bid of Environmental Care, Inc. dba Arbor Care, setting forth <br /> <br />hourly rates stated in said bidder's proposal dated August 11, 1998, for the <br /> <br />Comprehensive Street Tree Maintenance Project 1998-1999, is hereby <br /> <br />accepted, said hourly rates are hereby expressly accepted for purposes of <br /> <br />determining actual compensation under the agreement, subject to the maximum <br /> <br />limitation of expenditures thereunder of Two Hundred Eighteen Thousand Three <br /> <br />Res0-475 <br />DES:djk <br />F : Shared\Shared\R edwood\Council <br />08/18/98 <br /> <br />1 <br />
