<br />6. Event Control: Those portions of the "Sunflower Festival for the Arts" taking place <br />in the public right of way shall occur in a manner and shall be limited to that area <br />designated by the Chief of Police. The permittee will provide personnel to monitor <br />and control the event. <br /> <br />7. Insurance: Permittee shall furnish to the City public liability and property damage <br />insurance naming the City of Redwood City, its Council, boards, commissions, <br />officers, employees, volunteers, and agents as insureds, or additional insureds, <br />insuring the same against all claims for personal injury or death to any person or <br />persons resulting or arising from the conductiOQ of the activities herein permitted, or <br />alleged to have resulted or alleged to have arisen therefrom, or from any act or <br />omission to act, of Permittee in connection therewith, in the amounts of $1,000,000 <br />for each person and $1,000,000 for each occurrence, and property damage <br />insurance for damage or injury to, or destruction of property, including the loss of <br />use thereof, in the amount of $1,000,000. Evidence of such insurance coverage in <br />form satisfactory to the City shall be furnished by Permittee to the City at least ten <br />(1O) days prior to commencement of the event. <br /> <br />8. Damaae to Public Property: Permittee shall reimburse the City for the costs for any <br />damages to City owned property in the vicinity of the designated route, caused by or <br />arising out of the conducting of the .Sunflower Festival for the Arts. events <br />permitted hereunder, or the acts, omissions to act, of persons participating in said <br />event. All signs or other markings placed in or upon public property, including the <br />public right of way in connection with the "Sunflower Festival for the Arts" shall be <br />removed immediately following each said event. <br /> <br />9. Compliance With Laws: Permittee shall comply with all appropriate and applicable <br />rules, regulations and laws in connection with the conducting of said events, or any <br />activities associated therewith. This permit shall be in addition to all other permits <br />which are or may be required for conducting the "Sunflower Festival for the Arts" <br />events or any associated activities. <br /> <br />10. Hold Harmless: Permittee shall assume the defense of and indemnify and save <br />harmless the City of Redwood City, its Council, officers, boards, commissions, <br />employees, volunteers, and agents from all suits, actions, damages, or claims to <br />which the City may be subjected of any kind or nature whatsoever, resulting from or <br />arising out of the performance or failure to perform of Permittee hereunder, or <br />otherwise arising from or arising out of said events, or any activities herein <br />permitted. <br /> <br />11. Additional Matters: Additional or further matters not herein described or <br />contemplated in connection with the .Sunflower festival for the Arts. events shall not <br />be effectuated without the prior written consent of the Chief of Police. <br /> <br />Permittee employees will be responsible for placing and collecting all barricades <br />involved in this event. Permittee is responsible for a complete cleanup of the area <br /> <br />2 <br />
