<br />closed at Seaport Boulevard on July 4, 1999, from 8:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. <br />Seaport Court will be closed on July 4, 1999, at 7:00 p.m. or when parking <br />capacity has been reached, whichever occurs first. <br /> <br />5. <br /> <br />Dates and Time: The parade and festival shall be conducted on Sunday, <br />July 4, 1999. The parade and staging area shall be reserved from 6:00 a.m. <br />to 3:00 p.m.; the parade route shall be reserved from 9:00 a.m. until <br />2:00 p.m. The arts and crafts fair shall be conducted on July 3 and 4, 1999 <br />in the same area as the festival, from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. each day. The <br />"Redwood City Comes Alive" block party will be conducted in the same area <br />as the festival on July 3rd, from 6:00 p.m. until 10:00 p.m. The fair will <br />include displays and live music. Tarps or other material shall be employed to <br />protect sidewalk areas within booths selling food cooked on site. <br /> <br />6. <br /> <br />Insurance: Permittee shall furnish to the City public liability and property <br />damage insurance, naming the City of Redwood City, its Council, boards, <br />commissions, officers, employees, volunteers, and agents as insured, or <br />additional insured, insuring the same against all claims for personal injury or <br />death to any person or persons resulting or arising from the conducting of <br />the activities herein permitted, or alleged to have resulted or alleged to have <br />arisen therefrom, or from any act or omissions to act, of Permittee in <br />connection therewith, in the amounts of $1 ,000,000 for each person and <br />$1,000,000 for each occurrence, and property damage insurance for <br />damage or injury to, or destruction of property, including the loss of use <br />thereof, in the amount of $1,000,000. Evidence of such insurance coverage <br />in a form satisfactory to the City shall be furnished by Permittee to the City at <br />least ten (10) days prior to commencement of the event. <br /> <br />7. <br /> <br />Damage to Public Property: Permittee shall reimburse the City for the costs <br />of any damages to City owned property in the vicinity of the designated <br />route, caused by or arising out of the conducting of the activities permitted <br />hereunder, or the acts, omissions to act, of persons participating in said <br />event. All signs or other markings placed in or upon public property, <br />including the public right of way in connection with the activity, shall be <br />removed immediately following said event. <br /> <br />8. <br /> <br />Compliance With Laws: Permittee shall comply with all appropriate and <br />applicable rules, regulations, and laws in connection with the conducting of <br />said event, or any activities associated therewith. This permit shall be in <br />addition to all other permits that are or may be required for conducting this <br />event or any associated activity. Specifically, the Permittee or any other <br />individual event participants shall be responsible for obtaining necessary <br />State ABC permits and County Health permits. In the event a firework <br />display occurs, Permittee shall obtain all necessary State, County, and City <br />permits pertaining to the fireworks display. <br /> <br />2 <br /> <br />13665 <br />
