<br />Dates and Time: The Carnival shall be held from 10:00 a.m. on July 2,
<br />1999, and end at 11 :00 p.m. on July 5, 1999. Set up time will begin at 6:00
<br />p.m. on Thursday, July 1, 1999. The site will be cleared by 5:00 a.m. on
<br />Tuesday, July 6, 1999. The Carnival shall not operate on July 4, 1999, until
<br />1 :00 p.m. or the end of the 4tn of July Parade, whichever is later. This means
<br />that neither the rides or the games at the Carnival shall operate until after the
<br />parade has ended. The daily "shutdown" time for the Carnival will be 11 :00
<br />p.m. No rides shall operate after 11 :00 p.m. on any night. Ride tickets shall
<br />not be sold later than fifteen minutes prior to "shutdown" time.

<br />Insurance: Permittee shall furnish to the City public liability and property
<br />damage insurance, naming the City of Redwood City, its Council, boards,
<br />commissions, officers, employees, volunteers, and agents as insured, or
<br />additional insured, insuring the same against all claims for personal injury or
<br />death to any person or persons resulting or arising from the conducting of
<br />the activities herein permitted, or alleged to have resulted or alleged to have
<br />arisen therefrom, or from any act or omissions to act, of Permittee in
<br />connection therewith, in the amounts of $1 ,000,000 for each person and
<br />$1,000,000 for each occurrence, and property damage insurance for
<br />damage or injury to, or destruction of property, including the loss of use
<br />thereof, in the amount of $1,000,000. Additionally, Butler Amusement, Inc.,
<br />shall name the City as an additional insured on their $3,000,000 liability
<br />policy. Evidence of such insurance coverage in a form satisfactory to the
<br />City shall be furnished by Permittee to the City at least ten (10) days prior to
<br />commencement of the event.

<br />Damage to Public Property: Permittee shall reimburse the City for the costs
<br />of any damages to City owned property caused by or arising out of the
<br />conducting of the activities permitted hereunder, or the acts, or omissions to
<br />act, of persons participating in said event. All signs or other markings placed
<br />in or upon public property, including the public right of way in connection with
<br />the activity shall be removed immediately following the event.

<br />Compliance With Laws: Permittee shall comply with all appropriate and
<br />applicable rules, regulations, and laws in connection with the conducting of
<br />said event, or any activities associated therewith. This permit shall be in
<br />addition to all other permits, which are or may be required for conducting
<br />said Carnival, or any activity associated therewith. Specifically, Permittee
<br />shall obtain necessary State permits and County health permits.

<br />Hold Harmless: Permittee shall assume the defense of and indemnity and
<br />save harmless the City of Redwood City, its Council, officers, boards,
<br />commissions, employees, volunteers, and agents from all suits, actions,
<br />damages, or claims to which the City may be subjected of any kind or nature
<br />whatsoever, resulting from or arising out of the performance or failure to
