<br />9. <br /> <br />10. <br /> <br />11. <br /> <br />Compliance With Laws: Permittee shall comply with all appropriate <br />rules, regulations, and laws applicable to any and all activities which are <br />part of or associated with said celebration. This permit shall be in <br />addition to all other permits which are required for conducting said <br />event or any activity associated therewith. Specifically, the Permittee <br />shall obtain all necessary State, County, and City permits pertaining to <br />the fireworks display. <br /> <br />Hold Harmless: Permittee shall assume the defense of and indemnify <br />and hold harmless the City of Redwood City, its Council, officers, boards, <br />commissions, employees, and agents from all suits, actions, damages, or <br />claims to which the City may be subjected of any kind or nature whatsoever, <br />resulting from or arising out of the performance or failure to perform of <br />Permittee hereunder or otherwise arising from or arising out of said event or <br />any activities herein permitted. <br /> <br />City Services: <br /> <br />The City agrees to provide the following services: <br /> <br />. Deliver barricades, as necessary, to locations around the event area on <br />Saturday, December 2,2000, no later than 3:00 p.m. Barricades are to <br />be placed in accordance with the schedule of the street closures in <br />Appendix A. <br /> <br />. Posting of "No Parking" signs to be completed by 5:00 p.m. on <br />Wednesday, November 29,2000. The signs will state: "No Parking on <br />December 2, 2000, between 3:00 p.m. and 8:00 p.m." The signs will be <br />placed on Broadway between Winslow and Jefferson, on Middlefield <br />Road between Marshall and Main, and on Jefferson between Broadway <br />and Middlefield Road. <br /> <br />. Regular police patrol and police personnel to assist with barricades and <br />traffic control. <br /> <br />12. <br /> <br />Items Provided by Permittee: <br /> <br />. Adequate temporary restroom facilities. <br /> <br />. Personnel to staff street closures and dismantle barricades. <br /> <br />. Clean up crew to function in the event area at the close of the event. <br /> <br />13. <br /> <br />Miscellaneous and Additional Matters: Additional or further matters not <br />herein described or contemplated in connection with the event permitted <br />hereunder, shall not be effectuated without the prior written consent of the <br />Chief of Police. <br /> <br />3 <br />
