<br />ORIGINAL <br /> <br />TASK ORDER/ADDITIONAL SERVICES <br />NO.1 <br /> <br />This Task Order is entered into pursuant to the terms and conditions of the <br />following described agreement (the "Agreement"), entered into by and between the City of <br />Redwood City, a municipal corporation of the State of California (the "City") and the <br />contractor (the "Contractor") hereinafter identified: <br /> <br />Title of Agreement: SPECIAL LEGAL SERVICES - REDWOOD SHORES <br />LEVEE MAINTENANCE PROJECT <br /> <br />Contractor: <br /> <br />Washburn, Briscoe, and McCarthy, a professional corporation <br />55 Francisco Street, Suite #600 <br />San Francisco, CA 94133 <br /> <br />Date of Agreement: September 30, 1994 <br /> <br />1. Task Described. Contractor shall perform the following services, which are in <br />addition to those services described in the Agreement. <br /> <br />Description of Services: <br /> <br />To guide City Council and staff in responding to the potential issuance of a <br />Jeopardy Biological Opinion, against endangered species by the US. Fish and Wildlife <br />Service. (Exhibit "A" attached.) <br /> <br />2. Compensation. City shall compensate Contractor for the services described <br />in this Task Order under one of the two following alternatives, as indicated (check and <br />complete, as appropriate): <br /> <br />a. -L (check, if appropriate) Compensation shall be based <br />upon the rates of charge and method of calculation described in the Agreement. <br /> <br />b.
