As part of the application process, a Section 7 consultation with the U.S. Fish
and Wildlife Services is required.

B.

Tasks: Huffman & Associates, Inc. (H&A, Inc.) will continue to review Corps permit
documentation and assist client and client representatives with obtaining the necessary Corp permit
authorization. As part of this process, H&A, Inc. will continue to assist with the Corps required
Section 7 consultation with the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service. This effort is the third add-on to
previous efforts which now involves additional telephone contacts and meetings with agency
personnel at the USFWS Regional office; two meetings with the Corps of Engineers; three client
meetings and 3 hours of telephone discussions with client, client representatives and agency
personnel. Further development of a written response to the USFWS Draft Biological Opinion shall
also be necessary together with a written response to the Corps position of changing the City's
overall project purpose and modification of proposed mitigation.
