<br />~e meeting was called to order at 7:30 p.m. by ~almanJ
<br />Ralph Case. Commissioners present: Mrs. Anna Bennett Robb,
<br />Jack Poole, Donald Bogie, William Hanley, Clement Baume,
<br />Andrew Spin as , Irving Gold, H. Stout. Alfred lorton, Pasco
<br />Balzarini, A1 Olson and Audrey Rippe.

<br />Minutes of the regular meeting of January 23,1951 were
<br />, approved.

<br />PERSONAL APPEARk~CES:
<br />
<br />1. Mr. Layton, 168 Finger Avenue, Redwood City, attended
<br />the meeting in regard to setting up a miniature train at
<br />C~ooity Pa~. ~e city would receive lO~ of the gross
<br />intake. He has on hand the rails, cars, locomotive and about
<br />t mile of tra~. (Ins~eì) He asked if tM city ~uld
<br />furnish the loading platform, ticket office, and tunnel, in
<br />which the engine is kept then not in use.
<br />The charge would be 15 cents for adults l14 cents plus
<br />.01 for tax) and 9 cents for children.
<br />
<br />MSC fJoole and Robb that a letter be sent to the City Council
<br />requesting a meeting of representatives from the City Council
<br />and ~ark and Recreation Commission to meet with Mr. Layton
<br />and talk over the matter.
<br />
<br />MSC Poole and,Robb that the Layton proposition be laid before
<br />the City Council and flanning Commission and if they w111
<br />.recommend some contrs,ct which will be agreeable to all parties.

<br />Swimming ~ool Maintenance - William Hanley
<br />
<br />MSC Bogie and Robb. We recommend that 'the Pool Manager be paid
<br />between '200-275 per month and the matter be presented to the
<br />Redwood City Personnel Manager for their approval.
<br />
<br />MSC ~oole and Baume - Life guard salary be paid between 'lea
<br />;200 per month', 45, hour week.
<br />
<br />MSC Baume and Hanley - Attendants be paid between $180-200 per
<br />month. rfhe same category as the lifeguards.
