Redwood City Police <br /> Department Statement of Work <br /> (, 1.$ LICENSING AND PERMITS <br /> � The agencies of Redwood City are responsible for the pmcurement of all <br /> licenses and permits requu'ed for the system by local, State and Federal <br /> a�tthorities that are necessary for integration of the proposed equipment.This <br /> includes,but is not limited to: FCC licenses, FAA permits and building <br /> permits. <br /> It is the responsibility of Redwood City to secure frequencies for use by this <br /> system. Motorola will assist in providing information for Redwood City to <br /> help facilitate licensing coordination activities relevant to FCC filings for <br /> these frequencies. <br /> 1.9 SYSTEM DESIGN <br /> Motorola is responsible for the design of the Mobile Data.System Backbone <br /> and associated user equipment•'The system will include,the Radio Network <br /> Controller, two backbone sites, and the Mobile Data Devices. Information <br /> regarding the proposed system design is included in the system description <br /> sections of the proposal. As this design may change through contract <br /> negotiations, Motorola will provide final drawings and other system specific <br /> documents to Redwood City. <br /> ( 1.10 RADIO BACKBONE STTES <br /> 1.10.1 Redwood City Site Requirements <br /> This list of requirements is based on the design included in this proposal. A <br /> � diagram depicting the floor and rack space requirements reQuired for the <br /> Mobile Data Radio Backbone Site equipmeat is located.at the end of this <br /> Statement of Work. <br /> Each base station site must provide an environment suitable for installation, � <br /> operation and maintenance of the Quantar Data Base Stations, (DBS), <br /> communications links, and antenna sub-systems that is consistent with <br /> Motorola's published"R-56 Quality Standards -FNE Installations"manual. <br /> The following provisions and\or site improvements will be the responsibility <br /> of Redwood City.
