Redwood City Police Department Statement of Work (, 1.$ LICENSING AND PERMITS � The agencies of Redwood City are responsible for the pmcurement of all licenses and permits requu'ed for the system by local, State and Federal a�tthorities that are necessary for integration of the proposed equipment.This includes,but is not limited to: FCC licenses, FAA permits and building permits. It is the responsibility of Redwood City to secure frequencies for use by this system. Motorola will assist in providing information for Redwood City to help facilitate licensing coordination activities relevant to FCC filings for these frequencies. 1.9 SYSTEM DESIGN Motorola is responsible for the design of the Mobile Data.System Backbone and associated user equipment•'The system will include,the Radio Network Controller, two backbone sites, and the Mobile Data Devices. Information regarding the proposed system design is included in the system description sections of the proposal. As this design may change through contract negotiations, Motorola will provide final drawings and other system specific documents to Redwood City. ( 1.10 RADIO BACKBONE STTES 1.10.1 Redwood City Site Requirements This list of requirements is based on the design included in this proposal. A � diagram depicting the floor and rack space requirements reQuired for the Mobile Data Radio Backbone Site equipmeat is located.at the end of this Statement of Work. Each base station site must provide an environment suitable for installation, � operation and maintenance of the Quantar Data Base Stations, (DBS), communications links, and antenna sub-systems that is consistent with Motorola's published"R-56 Quality Standards -FNE Installations"manual. The following provisions and\or site improvements will be the responsibility of Redwood City.
