Redwood Cit� Police <br /> Department Statement of Work <br /> � <br /> 1.12 RADIO NETWORK CONT�tOLLER TO RADIO BACKBONE STTE LINK <br /> 1.12.1 Redwood City Responsibilities <br /> Redwood City shall provide one voice=grade, Type 3002,non-switched full <br /> duplex telephone circuit between each Data Base Station site and the RNC. <br /> As an alternate,the City may provide equivalent grade microwave circuits, <br /> including multiplex and termination cazds. The circuits must be teiminated <br /> using either RJ45 compatible jacks or on punch down blocks. The <br /> terminations should be withi.n 10 feet of the equipment and be provisioned <br /> with appropriate protection against transient voltages. <br /> Circuits must be set to accommodate equipment transmit levels of 0 to -I S <br /> dBm, and receive levels of-15 to -30 dBm. If digital tr�ansmission facilities <br /> ' are used,the levels should be set so that the level at the digital service unit <br /> (DSI� is 10 to 12 dB below the(voice)test level. Circuits must be installed <br /> � and tested before Motorola can install the communications equipment. <br /> 1.13 STAGING <br /> This Mobile Data System will be staged by Motorola at Motorola's facility in <br /> Schaumburg Illinois. Staging is the process of gathering all equipment in <br /> one location for the purpose of assembling and testing the entire working <br /> system in a controlled location. This process helps the project a�oid cost or <br /> schedule ovemins as all equipment and resources are available to assemble <br /> and test so that system issues ma.y be resolved before components are - <br /> dispersed for installation at remote,mountain-top sites. At the staging <br /> Iocation,.the equipment will be readied for opera.tion, configured and tested to <br /> ensure proper operation utilizing a pseudo hos�t. At the completion of <br /> staging,the equipment will be readied for shipment to Redwood City for <br /> instalTation. <br /> �_. <br /> QMOTOROLA � 4- 11 <br />
