Redwood City Police <br /> Department Statement of Work <br /> � 1.19.2 System Maintenance Overview Training <br /> Purpose <br /> By the end of this course, each student shall be able to: <br /> •3 Distinguish between normal and abnormal operation <br /> ❖ Determine in which unit a problem lies by system and mobile <br /> tiroubleshooting <br /> ❖ Correct simple faults or replacing the faulty unit with spare equipment <br /> ❖ Describe symptoms on a trouble report or to a service representative <br /> •:- Take the necessary steps to expedite re�airs. <br /> ❖ Do first level RNC diagnostics. <br /> Prerequisites <br /> It is essential that the people performing vehicle or system troubleshaoting <br /> and equipment adjustrnents have mobile RF experience. <br /> Participants <br /> i The course should be given to those employees w�o-wi1�be performing <br /> system troubleshooting and to their supervisors,with a maximum of ten <br /> participants per course. <br /> Duratioa <br /> The traiiung course is 2 days long and will be held during the installation <br /> stage. <br /> Equipment Required <br /> The following equipment is required: <br /> •:- RNC <br /> ❖ DBS <br /> ❖ V.3229 Modem <br /> ❖ 520 Data Terminal <br /> ❖ 12 VDC power supply(20 amp) <br /> :• Misc.hand tools <br /> ❖ Laptop Computer <br /> �irrvroROCa • 4- 18 <br /> _ _ ._ _.. _ _ __ -- ._ _ _ . <br />
