<br />CGM: jp: 11/30/77 <br /> <br />0 R DIN A N C E <br /> <br />N O. 1 734 <br /> <br />--------- <br /> <br />ORfGl NAL' <br />DEC 19 1971 <br /> <br />ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 20.97 OF, ADDING SECTIONS <br />20.97.1, 20.97.20 AND 20.97.21 TO, AND RENUMBERING <br />SECTIONS 20.97.1, 20.97.1-1, 20.97.1-2, 20.97.1-3, <br />20.97.1-4, 20.97.1-5, 20.97.1-6, 20.97.1-7, 20.97.1-8, <br />20.97.1-9, 20.97.2, 20.97.3, 20.97.4, 20.97.5 AND <br />20.97.6 OF, CHAPTER 20 OF THE CODE OF THE CITY OF <br />REDWOOD CITY ESTABLISHING NO PARKING ZONES ON PORTIONS <br />OF ALAMEDA DE LAS PULGAS, WINSLOW STREET AND WOODSIDE <br />FRONTAGE ROAD IN THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY <br /> <br />THE COUNCIL OF REDWOOD CITY DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />SECTION 1. <br /> <br />Section 20.97 of Chapter 20 of the Code of the <br /> <br />City of Redwood City is hereby amended to read as follows: <br /> <br />When signs are erected giving <br /> <br />"Section 20.97. <br /> <br />notice thereof, no person shall park a vehicle during <br /> <br />the times indicated on such signs upon any of the <br /> <br />streets specified in Sections 20.97.1 through 20.97.21, <br /> <br />inclusive. <br /> <br />The provisions of this section shall not <br /> <br />be applicable on Saturdays, Sundays or holidays except <br /> <br />as otherwise provided." <br /> <br />SECTION 2. <br /> <br />Section 20.97.1 is hereby added to Chapter <br /> <br />20 of the Code of the City of Redwood City to read as follows: <br /> <br />"Section 20.97.1. <br /> <br />Alameda de las Pulgas. <br /> <br />"Both sides, Edgewood Road to Eaton Avenue - <br />parking prohibited at all times, including <br />Saturdays, Sundays and holidays." <br /> <br />SECTION 3. <br /> <br />Section 20.97.20 is hereby added to Chapter <br /> <br />20 of the Code of the City of Redwood City to read as follows: <br /> <br />"Section 20.97.20. <br /> <br />Winslow Street. <br /> <br />" (a) <br /> <br />Both sides, Broadway to a point 55 feet <br />south of Broadway - parking prohibited <br />at all times, including Saturdays, <br />Sundays and holidays. <br /> <br />" (b) <br /> <br />North side, Middlefie1d Road to a point <br />151 feet south of Broadway - parking <br />prohibited at all times, including <br />Saturdays, Sundays and holidays. <br /> <br />1734 <br />
