DES:d4k 12/01/92 (024/34) <br /> O R I G I N A L 12/14/92 <br /> R E S O L U T I O N NO. 11914 <br /> RESOLUTION ACCEPTING BID FOR THE PURCHASE OF INTERIOR <br /> FURNISHINGS FOR THE NEW POLICE FACILITY; AUTHORIZING <br /> EXECUTION OF AGREEMENT FOR SAID WORK; AND DIRECTING <br /> RETURN OF SECURITY DEPOSITS <br /> WHEREAS , pursuant to Resolution No. 11881 , adopted November <br /> 2 , 1992 , the City Clerk advertised for bids for the purchase of <br /> interior furnishings for the New Police Facility; and <br /> WHEREAS, pursuant to said advertisement, five bids were <br /> received for said purchase and filed with the City Clerk; and <br /> WHEREAS, OP Contract, Inc. dba Office Pavilion of San <br /> Francisco, California, is the lowest responsible bidder and it is <br /> the intention and desire of this Council to accept the bid of <br /> said bidder; <br /> NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br /> AS FOLLOWS : <br /> 1 . The bid of OP Contract, Inc. dba Office Pavilion, in <br /> the amount of One Hundred Eighty-six Thousand Three Hundred <br /> Fifty-eight and 50/100 Dollars ($186 ,358 . 50) , computed in <br /> accordance with said bidder' s proposal dated November 25 , 1992 , <br /> for the purchase of interior furnishing for the New Police <br /> Facility is hereby accepted, and said bidder is hereby found and <br /> declared to be the lowest responsible bidder for said purchase. <br /> 2.
