DES:d2.k 12/01/92 (025/34) <br /> O R I G I N A L 12/14/92 <br /> R E S O L U T I O N NO. 11913 <br /> RESOLUTION ACCEPTING BID FOR PURCHASE OF PERSONAL BODY <br /> ARMOR VESTS; AND AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF PURCHASE <br /> DOCUMENTS THEREFOR <br /> WHEREAS, pursuant to the provisions of Section 2 . 65 of the <br /> Code of the City of Redwood City, the City Manager caused public <br /> notice inviting bids to be published for the purchase of personal <br /> body armor vests for police purposes; and <br /> WHEREAS, pursuant to said publication six bids were <br /> received; and <br /> WHEREAS, DCG Police Supply of Menlo Park, California is the <br /> lowest responsible bidder and it is the intention and desire of <br /> this Council to accept the bid thereof; <br /> NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br /> AS FOLLOWS: <br /> 1 . The bid of DCG Police Supply, of Menlo Park, <br /> California, in the total amount of Twenty-three Thousand Twenty <br /> and 20/100 Dollars ($23 , 020 . 20) , computed in accordance with said <br /> bidder' s proposal dated November 17 , 1992 for the sale of <br /> personal body armor vests , which bid is on file in the office of <br /> the City Clerk, to which reference is hereby made for the full <br /> particulars thereof, is hereby accepted, and said bidder is <br /> hereby found and declared to be the lowest responsible bidder for <br /> the sale of said armor vests to Redwood City' s Police Department. <br /> 2 . Any and all informalities in the aforementioned bid of <br /> said DCG Police Supply are, and each of them is , hereby waived. <br />
